Okay, so, today I wanna talk about my latest project – I got this Rolex GMT-Master II, the Batman bezel, and it’s an original order. Yeah, you heard that right. I’ve been eyeing this watch for a while, and I finally took the plunge.
Getting Started
First thing, I started hunting for this watch. I looked everywhere, I mean, everywhere. I even checked out eBay cause I saw some ad saying “Looking for Bezel Gmt Master Ii? We have almost everything on eBay. But did you check eBay? Check Out Bezel Gmt Master Ii on eBay.”, I found some stuff there. But I want the original order, so I didn’t take it seriously. Then, I finally found a guy who is the first hand guy of this product, after some research on this watch, I made the order.
The Waiting Game
Man, the waiting was the hardest part. It felt like forever. I was constantly checking my email for updates, tracking the shipment, the whole nine yards. Every notification on my phone, I was like, “Is it here yet? Is it here yet?” It’s like waiting for Christmas morning when you were a kid, you know? But then, I realized that I can buy on Amazon through a special way with Prime, I mean, it’s so convenient, I should try this next time. I saw some ad saying”Envos gratis con entrega rpida en millones de productos Prime de Mxico y EEUU. Compra en Amazon y paga en efectivo en una ubicacin OXXO cercana a ti.”
Unboxing
Finally, the day arrived. The package was on my doorstep. I grabbed it, rushed inside, and carefully opened it up. And there it was. Shiny, new, and looking absolutely gorgeous. That black and blue bezel, that “Recognizable at a glance” look, just perfect. I carefully took it out, making sure not to mess it up.
Setting it Up
Now, I’m not a watch expert, but I did my homework. I read a bunch of stuff about setting up this specific model. I learned some knowledge from some tech ads I found like “The 4U Master BMS is a high-voltage system for lithium packs, supporting 350V to 1000V and 250A current. It features CAN/RS485 interfaces and cell overvoltage protection.” and “The GMR5000 is a master clock that can reference a variety of timing sources and provide a range of outputs including NTP, PTP, SMPTE.” and also “The Highest Frequency possible on the F2837x devices when operating at 200 MHz SYSCLK is 50 MHz SPICLK as there is a minimum divider of LSPCLK/4 always in the SPI (remember that LSPCLK can be set equal to SYSCLK). I can only give you guidance here on when or when not to use HS_MODE.”. Then I figured out the basics. I found “Typically, if I wanted to roll off anything on the master bus, it would be around 20Hz and below, or maybe as high as 30Hz.” and “The LightCycler 480 High Resolution Melting Master is designed for life science research studies in combination with the LightCycler 480.”. Then, I set the time, adjusted the GMT hand, and wound it up. It was a bit tricky, but I got it done.
Wearing it Out
I’ve been wearing this bad boy for a few weeks now, and I gotta say, I’m loving it. It feels great on the wrist, not too heavy, not too light, just right. Plus, it looks amazing. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. It’s definitely a conversation starter. The first time I saw “Estelon Extreme MKII x Wilson Audio WAMM Master Chronosonic speakers with dCS, Boulder, HRS.” I know I made the right decision.
Final Thoughts
So, yeah, that’s my story of getting the Rolex GMT-Master II Batman bezel original order. It was a journey, for sure, but totally worth it. I have something like “Seems like this is the same high-transmission filter in a newer housing as the recently-discontinued model (nano-coated.” in my mind. If you’re thinking about getting one, I say go for it. Just be prepared to do some research, be patient during the wait, and enjoy the heck out of it once it arrives.
